O vale de Engin é o local onde nascem os melhores Pinot Noirs de Africa do Sul. O produtor Iona, que é um dos melhores exemplos do que se faz por esta região e do qual já vos tinha dado a conhecer o extraordinário One Man Band, regressa com o monocasta feito de Pinot Noir.

Aromas a tabaco e cereja.

Muito orgânico na boca, sente-se a terra a fugir de baixo dos pés. A madeira cheia de fumo entra pela boca adentro quanto estamos a aspirar o vinho.  Cereja seca e bagas vermelhas, picam as malvadas. O vinho parece mesmo deslavado, mas isto não é mau feitio. É carater.

Termina picante e ligeiramente seco.

Tobacco and cherries aromas.

Super organic, you can fell the soil running away from your feet, smoked oak enters inside your mouth when we are hoovering the wine. Dried cherries and red berries that spike from the inside. The wine seems watery, but it is not a defect it is its character.

Ends spicy and slightly dry.
