Aromas:
Fresco no aroma, algumas notas de flores no fundo e notas cítricas.

Palato:
Acidez bem afinada e viva.

Final:
Final longo.

Conclusão:
Magnifico branco. Custa 10€. Finissímo. Mantenha fresco para melhor o apreciar.

What led me to buy this wine was the adduction of Alvarinho grape variety in Douro, added to the fact that it is made by one of the best producers of Portuguese whites under the brand Castello D'Alba.

In the mouth it is dry and mineral, with some salt, is fresh full of lemon, some ripe white pulp fruit, ends with a great feeling of freshness that sticks into the throat. Finely-tuned and lively acidity.

Finish:
Long.

Finesse and magnificent white. It costs 10€. Keep it cool to enjoy properly.

Plansel Selecta Reserva Verdelho 2010 Branco

Quinta de Plansel as become one of my favorite  producers from Alentejo. Almost everything they touch turns into gold.

Single variety made from Verdelho.

Appearance:
Very pale lemon yellow color.

Aromas:
Nose with tropical essence, but without too much expression.

Palate:
Lightly tropical with passion fruit, pineapple and lemon hints and a slice of new oak to break the tropical character, very light and fresh with vivid acidity.

Finish:
Medium.

Conclusion:
Why chase Sauvignon Blanc, when we can make summer, bright wines much more appealing and addictive?

D. Graça Reserva 2009 Branco

Feito com Rabigato e Viosinho.

Aparência:
Cor amarelo/limão palido.

Aromas:
Fruta madura tropical e limonada.

Palato:

Custa 7€.

Made from a blend of Rabigato and Viosinho.

Appearance:
Pale lemon yellow.

Aromas:
Ripe tropical fruit and lemonade.

Palate:
Buttery attack style like cured cheese, suggests it has more body that it seems. At the beginning,  tropical fruit, ending with salty lemonade. Lot's of life and structure without being heavy despite 14º of alcohol.

Finish:
Medium and dry.

Conclusion:
Thought by the attack we had wine to drink during winter or to pair with roast meat, but in the end results being light despite the buttery feeling. Pairs beautifully with fish baked in the oven. Cost 7€.
